From themes of landscapes, portraits and divinity to the essence of impermanence, and shades of solitude, the works of about 90 artists from throughout Andhra Pradesh will probably be displayed on the artwork pageant being organised in Visakhapatnam from October 25 to 27. Artist Sharmla Karri will probably be displaying her work titled ‘Divinity’ on the present – a mirrored image of the forest Goddess Aranyani Devi. “A few years in the past, when after I examine ‘Aranyani Devi’ a forgotten goddess, I needed to place it on the canvas. Intrigued by the sweetness, the artist made a collection of work on theme. “It is an ongoing collection that I preserve engaged on,” she says.

Sharmla feels the challenges of the pandemic supplied priceless classes. “One factor that I realised whereas adjusting to the brand new regular is that even with a restricted palette, there was a lot to discover.
