Visakhapatnam-based artist V Ramesh’s new physique of labor — a collection on nonetheless life — carries a powerful emotional resonance.

The artist’s new works are being showcased at his solo exhibition titled ‘The Pandemic Nonetheless Life’ at Threshold Artwork Gallery in New Delhi. Within the present exhibition, he has linked mankind by means of a oneness of human expertise and existence.

Recognized for the depth of his figurative work, Ramesh likes to juxtapose that which is alive with that which is deteriorated, displaying the impermanence of the physique.

One piece reveals the brilliant yellow canvas of wilted flowers in a vase; the opposite with dried lifeless flowers surrounding a vibrant orange flower positioned in a jar — showcasing stark contrasts. Ramesh was a school on the Division of Advantageous Arts, Andhra College, since 1985. He holds an Masters diploma in Advantageous Arts from the School of Advantageous Arts, Baroda. He was awarded the Sanskriti Award in 1993 and Senior Fellowship from Division of Tradition in 1995-97.

In his work, Ramesh appears for transparency: for the flexibility to look by means of a membrane of a vessel and see the world in its inside.
