Maharashtra: 21-year-old girl raped twice in a transferring bus whereas travelling from Nagpur to Pune

In a stunning incident, a lady was allegedly raped twice inside a transferring non-public luxurious bus whereas it was on approach to Pune from Nagpur. The  21-year-old girl, travelling to Pune after boarding a bus from Nagpur, was allegedly raped in a transferring bus by a 25-year-old cleaner by threatening her on January 6, 2021. 

In keeping with a report, the survivor mentioned that the accused Sameer Deokar (25), bus cleaner, had requested her to shift from seat quantity 5 to seat quantity 15. Then he gagged her, threatened her with a knife, and raped her twice.

The lady reported the incident to Pune’s Ranjangaon Police, however because the incident passed off within the Washim district, the Pune Police has transferred the grievance to the Malegaon Police of Washim.

The survivor, who belongs to Gondia, works with a personal firm in MIDC at Rajnandgaon in Pune. She had gone to a village in Bhandara district for her sister’s wedding ceremony. The incident passed off whereas returning to Pune from the marriage. She had boarded the bus in Nagpur.

A zero FIR has been registered based mostly on the assertion of the sufferer, a senior police officer of Ranjangaon Police Station mentioned yesterday. The police have filed a case towards the bus cleaner.
