Andhra Pradesh: Tight safety in place for YSRCP plenary

Elaborate safety has been put in place for the two-day YSRCP plenary starting from on July 8.

Together with the native police, the APSP battalions, QRT, and paramilitary forces have been deployed, Director Common of Police Ok.V. Rajendranath Reddy has stated.

“An alert has been sounded at Khaja village of Mangalagiri Rural mandal in Guntur district, the place the plenary is being organised in entrance of Acharya Nagarjuna College (ANU), and the neighbouring areas,” Mr. Rajendranath Reddy instructed The Hindu on Thursday.

“About 3,000 police forces have been deployed. Focus is on regulating visitors on the nationwide freeway. Greater than 4 lakh folks and get together activists are anticipated to attend the plenary,” he stated.

“Almost 10,000 four-wheelers, 3,000 buses and different automobiles are anticipated to achieve village for the conclave, and visitors diversions and laws have been imposed to stop congestions,” the DGP stated.

Greater than 10 IPS officers can be taking care of the safety preparations for Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and the Ministers, Members of Parliament, MLCs, MLAs and different VIPs attending the plenary.

Senior law enforcement officials visited the venue, held discussions with the organisers, and reviewed the safety preparations, Mr. Rajendranath Reddy stated.
